Andrew first joined Black Marble as Computer Science placement student for his Year in Industry and then joined the company full time upon graduating from the University of Hull with a First Class Honours in Computer Science.

Andrew has spent time on the development team, developing a focus on Microsoft Azure, specialising in Azure Integration Services (AIS), enabling our customers to take full advantage of what the cloud has to offer whilst adhering to DevOps best practices.

Andrew moved to consultancy team, where his enthusiasm, professionalism and experience meant that in 2024, he joined the Senior Management Team as Chief Consultancy Officer, leading our team of consultants and ensuring our customers receive the best possible service we can provide.

Andrew is always keen to share his knowledge with his peers, including through his extensive blog writing in all-things technical, but usually leaning towards AIS, and through presenting on technical conferences such as DDD North.

Andrew is a Member of the British Computer Society (MBCS).
